Application Process

Applicants must apply to the Schulich School of Business through the online application. The following documents must be submitted to Schulich as part of the process:

  • A completed application form
  • Essays
  • Two recommendations
  • A resume
  • Official GMAT score
  • Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
  • Proof of English language proficiency (if required)
  • A non-refundable application fee of $150.00 US.  

Decision Process  

Decisions are made at intervals throughout the admission cycle. The Admissions committee may request an interview as part of this process. You will receive an email request if this is required.

Offer of Admission  

Once the application is reviewed, eligible applicants are sent an offer of admission. This offer is sent via e-mail from a member of the Graduate Admissions team. A hard copy of the offer letter is also sent via regular mail.

Confirmation of Acceptance  

To confirm the offer of admission, the applicant must submit the confirmation form and non-refundable deposit to Schulich.

A deposit of $3,000 CDN is required with the confirmation form. Your offer of admission will state when your confirmation deposit is due. This deposit will be credited towards the first term’s tuition fees.


To be eligible for admission consideration, each applicant to a graduate management program must meet the general admission requirements outlined below:

Academic Background

An undergraduate degree from a recognized university with at least a B average in the last two full years (or equivalent) of academic work.

English Proficiency

The Schulich School of Business will accept one of the following as evidence of English proficiency:

  • PTE Academic
  • YELT

Please note: In special circumstances, admission to Schulich may be conditional upon taking an intensive English language course.

GMAT Score

An acceptable score on all four measurements of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).

Online Application and Supporting Documents

To apply, you must complete and submit the online application. Please note: there is a non-refundable application fee of $150.00 US.

Through the online application you will submit essays, your resume and 2 letters of recommendation. You may also upload your unofficial transcripts, which the admissions team can review while the official copies are on their way to Schulich.

Work Experience

Two years of relevant full-time work experience post degree or life experience.
